Honor Cards
We provide honor cards for all occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, remember someone, thank someone, recognize someone or just because. It is a great way to support GHCCM and let someone know you are thinking of them. To get your honor cards, contact Lillian Carte at 327-0979 ext. 231.
I read somewhere that coming to the aid of a neighbor in need is not charity, it is a noble act. I was listening to a sermon recently and the subject was "to whom much is given, much is required" (Luke 12:42-48). The main idea here is not just finances, but that we are accountable for the knowledge, resources, abilities, etc. that God has blessed us with. If we have been given much, then He expects that much more from us. The good news is that all of these Blessings come from God. God knows that humans are not perfect and that we can't do anything right without His help (John 15:5), but we can do all things through Christ as He strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). So let's ask the Lord to give us His wisdom and Spirit so that we can be faithful over what He has entrusted to us. We at GHCCM depend on believers to partner with us to help our neighbors. We believe we are obligated to be good stewards of gifts of time, talent and treasures.
