Medicators vs. Litigators

The Catawba County Bar Association proudly presents the Third Annual Doctors vs. Lawyers Basketball Game being held Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 2 to 4 pm. The game, played at the Hickory High School gym, is open to the public and will be a family friendly, fun-packed event.
Local doctors and lawyers will team up for this third annual charity basketball game. In addition to a great basketball game, activities will be offered for children, such as face painting, balloon artists, carnival games, and more.
Through the advertisements, sponsorships, donations and ticket sales last year’s event raised more than $25,000 for Medical Access of Catawba County and Legal Aid of North Carolina. Over the past two years the event has raised more than $50,000!
Tickets are $5 for adults and children under the age of 12 are free. The Doctors proceeds support Medical Access for Catawba County, a countywide health program of the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry and the Lawyers proceeds will support Legal Aid of North Carolina.
